Fitness and Mobility Exercise (FAME) is a program for individuals with stroke with some standing and walking ability. Designed to enhance mobility and fitness, and to reduce the risk of secondary complications such as falls, fractures, and heart disease. Includes warmup, exercises focused on balance, strength, and agility, followed by cool down and stretching.
Must complete Consent Form, Community Center Information Form, PAR-Q Questionnaire, and Medical Information Form (if required) prior to participation. Forms can be obtained by contacting [email protected] or filled out in person before the first class.
